The Stone Soup annual contest for novels and long form fiction snow in its fifth year. The winning title is produced as a print book. Books from previous winners are for sale at Amazon.com.

Any writer ages 18 and young is eligible.
The minimum word count is 8,000. There is no maximum.
Entries will be reviewed on an ongoing basis for possible publication at Stonesoup.com. All works accepted for StoneSoup.com up until midnight Pacific Time on August 31, 2026 will be evaluated for the Stone Soup Prize, which is your work published as a book. To accommodate writers of different ages, and manuscripts of different lengths, the Judges will select up to five books for print publication.
The winning entries will be announced no later than November 1, 2026. Your book will be published by March 1, 2027.
This contest is only open to works that are 100% written by the author. You may use a human editor, or AI, to correct spelling and to correct minor grammatical errors. It is not acceptable to use a human editor, or AI, to perform a complete review and revision of the work’s grammar.
