Loving You from Far Away

Julia Caggiano

Passing onAs I look up, you look down, but our love still shines brightAs it meets in one placeFrom there it lights up the night skyMoonlit love

MovingAs the night chirpsI send my love to youFor you also used to hear this jolly nighttime songBut now I listen aloneYou, very far away.Still they bring back happy memoriesCrickets singing down memory lane

Away at schoolEvery day I miss your happy laughEvery night I fell asleep to your gentle snoreNot tonightWhen I look at Orion and the dippers big and small, I love you even moreThe way you listen to my storiesI think about thatAnd I knowI finally feel close even though we are far apartMemories shine bright through the stars
