MY GRANDFATHER’S RUSSIAN TYPEWRITER

He wrote novels and poemsOn that old, grey pony. But now it sits in our shoe closetNext to a pair of old rain boots. One afternoon I find it on the kitchen tableReleased from its case,Buttons dusty yet ink still wet.I insert a blank pageAnd type awkwardly in Russian.
