Northern Lights

Poem "Northern Lights" by Raeha Khazanchi, 11

When those northern lights shineSpewing out rainbowsTo color the snow. When purple and blue dances with my hair,Turning it purple then blue then purple againUntil it settles for a violet blue the color of blueberries. When the snow turns greenAnd my house, black,We all know that the sky has turned onA private playThat only we get to see.
