Snowflake Hiding in Blues

Flashlightlightdraws two silhouetteswalking side by side.As the canvas of this heavy darknessturns to this silent nighttonightI gazeinto the sky sweet facesprinkled with freckles of stars. The crickets singand spread their wings.Whose song, they ask,is most true? It’s truewhen the day fadesthere’s a special waythat the sky isthe brightest blue.
