Rainbow Duck

Ducks aren’t beautifulThey aren’t even prettyYet when you look at a duckYour mind feels at restYou feel contentLike you are in a tranceBut in realityYou are just amazedAt how serene the duck isYou can’t tell what made youStop and stare so you move onBut there is a flicker of envyIn your heart becauseYou truly wish you could beAs composed as that duckYou shake your headAt the thought and walk onWho could be jealous ofAn ugly duckling?Yet in the right perspectiveYou are the ugly ducklingAnd the duck is the graceful swan.
