Running Down the Bishop Ford Bridge

Ian Maduff

Running downThe Bishop Ford bridgeAcross the sky.Cars on roads keep goingTrains on tracks keep slowing.

Headed down the Bishop FordPink water towerWill devourAnother towerWith its smiley face.

Down over the bridgeBishop Ford bridgeGoing round the bendExit to WisconsinExit to IndianaTime to go rightThe sun is brightRev it upSpeed upAcross the rocks

Towards the quarryThis deathly giant pit.If you fellYou’d fall forMore than a minute.

Trees cover the rocks.LooksLikeThe pitWas never there.

Exit 2BTo Homewood.
