The Whale

Isaac Goodman

The whale gently glides across the surfacehis sad, long, moaning music enchants all he meetsto rejoice the sound would be a wrongingfor he is sad, lonely, coldhis sister has just lost her lifeand the two-legged ones did itan empty feeling embraces his headand the wind drowns out his thoughtsas he peacefully swims away
