Curriculum
— Write a story where the character fails at everything and ultimately doesn’t succeed at the end.
— Write a business plan. This could be for the business you want to start when you’re older, or even a completely made-up business!
— Draw a picture of a magical ship and its captain using any preferred medium (pencil, pen, watercolor, pastel, etc.).
— Write a job description for an unrealistic job.
— Write a story that has a frame narrative, or exists within another story.
— Take an abstract photo that shows a pattern in nature, like this one of a piece of coral from the October 2020 issue of Stone Soup.
— Take a photo of a wild animal in motion.
— Write a letter to a fictional person that annoys you, such as the person who stepped on your foot.
— Write a story about somebody who falls through a bowl of tomato soup and into a magical land! To submit to this month’s Flash Contest, click here.
— Create a fictional politician, and write them a “stump speech.” What policies do they support? What is their personality like?
