Personal Narrative

I am by names of Imani Gedeon. I am a Congolese refugee residing in Nakivale Refugee settlement since 2016. I am a writing lover of fiction and non-fiction writing. I hope you enjoyed my work.

An anthropological perspective has helped me a lot because by writing all the things I was observing I was able to understand better the world than when I was not writing. It has helped me to remember better what I did in the past, helped me to use my ideas that I used in the past that was important to me again, and also it has helped me to realize that it is good to write about things you observe in your own life.

Your donations help the world see through their eyes.
