About Wonder Boys Nothing Else

My Start Project, in partnership with Gua Africa, has been instrumental in empowering young refugees through artistic expression and storytelling since 2011. Together, we provide a safe haven for marginalized youth, allowing them to reclaim their identities through art and film programs. Our collaboration reflects a shared commitment to nurturing social and emotional development through creativity.

The upcoming exhibition, ‘Wonder Boys-Nothing Else,’ features artwork by boys from Kakuma Refugee Camp, who have participated in our programs and now established members of the Kakuma Art Collective. This showcase is a testament to their resilience and spirit. Collaborating with renowned Nigerian artist and photographer Aize Muhammad Paul, these young artists have drawn initial inspiration from Aize’s photography catalogue and produced works on shared concepts of  African storytelling, hopes, and dreams, creating poignant and evocative pieces.
