My name is Kakule Ori Bararuhanya. I am 17 years old and a Congolese refugee residing n Nakivale refugee settlement since. I am a writer and a drawing artist. I had this chance to join this class and hope you will enjoy my works.

Anthropology helped me to understand deeply the world that I am living in and other people’s way of living through the ethnographic interviews that helped me on how to interact with the people I am living with. Life as an anthropologist truly has helped me a lot, it has shown me that before to write anything I must observe and understand deeply what I want to write about. What I wrote was showing respect of children and their parents while their parents didn’t know anything on how to read and write.
