Giving voice to displaced children and young people.

I am called African
The UN calls me a refugee
I call myself an alien
My parents think I am
the baby
My neighbors say
I act as an adult
At school my class teacher calls me
the big head of the class
While the school head mistress thinks
I’m one of the well behaved kids
of the whole school.
I am beautiful like girls
But I am a boy.
I am not gay or lesbian
but even myself
I don’t understand.
Because I am a boy
but behave like girls sometimes.
Finally someone understood me
and named me:
The Confusion.
